New Year, New Hair and Things I am Loving

For some time I have been wanting to change my hair so I finally mustered up the courage to do so. I purchased Loreal Feria Power Reds at-home hair dye in R57 and I am happy with the results, from my local Wal-mart. This is my first time dying my hair using an at-home boxed dye. Do you guys have any tips to help maintain the vibrancy? Leave a comment!

What do you think of the red hair?

Below I was sent HairDiamond Italia 18" FastClip Hair Extensions in Auburn. They blend pretty well with my new hair color! I am really happy with these extensions, the length is the same as my natural  length so I use these Hair Extensions primarily to add volume.

Now onto some products I have been loving...

MAC's Heroine Purple Lipstick (love this matte formula) is a true vibrant purple/violet

I was given the opportunity to try Bio Ionic's OnePass Flat Iron/Hair Straightener. I've been looking for a less-damaging Straightener and this caught my eye. You literally only have to glide it through each section of hair only once! The One Pass is way less damaging than have to take it through each part over and over. Bio Ionic are the creators of AgaveOil and it has definitely been making a buzz throughout the beauty community. Very happy with this product. (photo taken before I colored my hair the other day)

Burgundy Eyeshadows
Been OBSESSED with finding red/wine-colored/burgundy/mahogany eyeshadows! Do you have any you recommend?

Must Have Burgundy Liner used below is Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon Eyeliner Pencil in Jazz(berry). It has become my new favorite Eye Liner that does NOT budge or smudge, glides on like butter and lasts all day. I am getting more very soon. (Lips are Makeup Forever Rouge Artist in #21)

On the Left I am wearing Stila Mahogany eyeshadow

Did a quick look using the Burgundy/Currant eyshadow from the MUSE palette by Frankie Rose Cosmetics

Frankie Rose Cosmetics Haul
Matte Perfection Foundation in Angel $32, Blushes in Romantic and Canyon Spice $17 each, Black Infinity Eye Pencil $16, 12 Shade Professional Series Eyeshadow Palette in Muse $42, Lush Lengthening Mascara $16, Lipsticks in Pink Melon and Passion Plum $16 each, and their Raspberry Dazzle Lip Gloss (barely adds any color, very sheer wash) $16.
Amazing pigmentation, high-quality, buttery-smooth textures. I am seriously impressed by this company. So happy I found them on Instagram @FrankieRoseCosmetics
Wearing Passion Plum Lipstick (totally reminds me of MAC's Heroine)
Close up of the swatches (see the burgundy/wine shade I used on my eyes?)
By the way, that black eyeliner lasts SO long, all day on the eyes- it's waterproof and ULTRA smooth!

MAC #33 Lashes
They look so natural, yet they give just enough length and volume- no one will be able to tell if they are fake! This is a photo of me wearing the MAC 33 False Eyelashes for the 5th or 6th time.

This sponge is a must have, I never get tired of using it. If you want your makeup to go on smoothly, then this is the tool for you. Perfect for makeup artists.
Tip: instead of using water to wet the Beauty Blender, try Natura Bisse's Diamond Mist $90, which will help spread the foundation more evenly on the skin while hydrating, energizing and revitalizing your face. Other budget-friendly sprays that will work include MAC's Fix Plus $21, Mario Badescu's Rose Water Facial Spray $7, or Gressa Skin Rejuvenating Mist $26.

Lastly, for apparel, I have been loving Liquid Leggings. You can pair black ones with cropped tops and comfy sweaters- they are very versatile and not to mention, they make me feel a little sexy, ha!
I bought these from Nordstrom in Brass Plum, I am sure you can get them anywhere like Forever 21.
