Dahling Accessories bags are all limited edition. Many of my fabrics are vintage or vintage inspired. Every bag has a fun lining or special detail that makes it unique.
Dahling is about what you love, what you wake up for each morning. It's about passion- for what you do, what you believe in and especially what you wear."

Before the indie design and handmade revolution began, my best friend from high school, Lori Hedrick, and I started a handbag label called Lolo + Gretch Dahling. I had just finished up my degree in Fashion Design and Lori was a freelance stylist and we just felt like it was the time to begin our own venture. The label's name came about because one of our teachers, Mrs Gallani, was this fabulous woman who ended everyone's name with "dahling". We loved that and it just kind of stuck. We worked together on Lolo + Gretch Dahling for about 7 years. We really had it all worked out- Lori cut, I sewed, we both designed...and we had an amazing time doing it! We were featured in local publications, blogs and national magazines such as Lucky and Teen Vogue. It was so much fun but we decided mutually that it was time to pursue our individual passions. Lori writes a blog focusing on beauty and style (lolodahling.com) and I continued with designing handbags.
Dahling Accessories is starting from where we left off. I have always felt like I missed my era- I love the mod looks of the mid 1960s to the bohemian styles of the late 60s to early 70s. I'm inspired by beautiful fabrics, eye-catching colors, vintage-esque trims and details. I love life and I love to create something from nothing.

Gold Circle Necklace
Buy it here
$45
Description
This gold circle necklace is simple and sophisticated.
The center circle is about 1" in diameter and beautifully textured. It is linked to chain with 3mm gold beads and jump rings. This transition is adding unique character to this circle necklace.
The chain is also textured and very nice quality. Please zoom a picture and see the thickness.
Total length is approxmately 16" and half.
All materials used for this neclace are 14K gold filled, so the color of gold will not wear off like plated gold or vermeil.
I absolutely LOVE this necklace! I am seriously not trying to brag, but I probably own about one-hundred necklaces... some of the most gorgeous, blinged-out, elaborate pieces of art... yet I always find myself choosing simple accessories such as this gold circle necklace. It practically goes with everything!
I love that this can be worn with just about anything. Plus, it is super comfortable and I get tons of compliments when I wear it. The quality is superb and I highly recommend checking out Twinkle Little Bz's Etsy Shop!!

Bio:
My name is Lauren and I adore making my line of hand knitted jewelry! If you ask my husband, 10 year old twin boys and my big hairy dog...they will tell you I am slightly obsessed with Etsy. I am really amazed by this Etsy community, the virtual friends I have made and the remarkable handmade items you can find here!
A little history:
I have been interested in all aspects of art, since I was young. I studied drawing when I was in elementary school; painting and jewelry making in college. I have drawn pet portraits, painted furniture and murals, dabbled in faux finishes, hand painted glass and even do professional face painting occassionally. About 15 years ago, when I was in graduate school, my grandmother re-introduced me to knitting and I haven't put the needles down since.
I was a "closet" knitter for years. Back in the day... it was not as popular as it is now. I loved new yarns and patterns and even began designing my own patterns for sweaters. I never knit a pair of socks in my life. I liked big chunky needles and big chunky yarns.
About 4 years ago, all of that changed. I picked up a pair of tiny tiny needles, some rayon and some beads and was hooked. What first started as gifts for family and friends has now developed into Lapis Beach Jewelry.
I am constantly finding and buying new beads and creating new mixes, new designs and I have added a wire works line: knitting with wire. I have been "tweeking" my beads mixes for over 3 years and every single piece comes out differently. A truly one of a kind item. My color mixes constantly evolve as I have a problem with "not" buying more beads - so new shapes and sizes are thrown in on a weekly basis.
Wire Cuff
Buy it here or here
$50-$60
So I really cannot imagine anyone not liking this bracelet!
My mum recently got engaged and I think this would make a gorgeous wedding cuff.
It reminds me of netting for fishing- I know that doesn't sound glamourous, but that's what makes this so unique and different from other bracelets.
The wire has literally been knitted to create a mesh band.
To top it off, there are jewels, pearls and beads that makes it glisten and sparkle! I love this!!!
