LUMIXYL Brightening Skin Care Review & Giveaway!!

The LUMIXYL Brightening System is a revolutionary multi-faceted system that dramatically improves the appearance of hyperpigmentation tolerably and without the side effects associated with prescription Hydroquinone or retinoids.
This professional skincare system builds on the success of the Lumixyl Topical Brightening Crème introduced in 2009.
An innovation in skin brightening technology, the four products in the Lumixyl Brightening System work synergistically to target existing hyperpigmentation and to prevent its recurrence. For most patients these formulations can eliminate the need to use hydroquinone or its bi-products, which are controversial due to their potential side effects. Lumixyl products are proven to be powerful but gentle on skin.
The 4 step system offers a complete approach to brightening that is sustainable, effective and more tolerable than competitive brightening systems that contain hydroquinone. The Lumixyl Topical Brightening System builds on the four products including Active-Prep Cleanser, the Topical Brightening CremeGlycoPeel 20 Rapid Exfoliating Lotion, and Moisture-Lock Sunscreen SPF 30. The products are ideal for all skin types.

Lumixyl is a non-toxic, non-irritating OTC brightening system, produced my Envy medical, Inc.
The synthetic peptide technology has been shown to significantly help improve the appearance of unwanted discoloration, age spots, sun spots and uneven skin tone.
This product is now available through select physicians. The new cosmeceutical skin brightening cream can be found in leading physician offices for $120 per 1 ounce pump.
Lumixyl was developed by dermatological researchers at Stanford University.
This breaking technology is the only peptide shown to measurably promote healthy skin function.
Scientific studies indicate it has a mechanism or action that reduces tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for initiating the overproduction of melanin. It is melanin that causes the uneven pigmentation and dark spots.
Lumixyl is created for patients seeking more even skin-tone including those with:
-Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
-Sun spots, age spots or liver spots
-Hyperpigmentation caused by systemic disease or prescription drugs
A clinical study demonstrated that the topical use of Lumixyl visbly improves mild to moderate hyperpigmentation with excellent volunteer satisfaction in as little as 8 weeks.
Studies show that the key ingredient in Lumixyl, a chain of ten amino acids, promoted the moderation of melanin more efficaciously than hydroquinone.
At equal concentrations, skin that was treated with the Lumixyl peptide expressed a reduced production of melanin by as much as 40% compared to those treated with hydroquinone, which reduced production by only 7% in the study.
Moreover, in-use and Repeated Insult Patch Testing (RIPT) studies confirm that Lumixyl is safe for topical use and does not elicit irritation or allergic reaction.
It does not cause increased sensitivity to sunlight as do many commonly used brightening agents and is gentle for all skin types and tones.
"The results of studies conducted at Stanford are impressive, showing a 40% improvement in melanin related darkening," commented Nowell Solish, MD, FRCP, Assistant professor at The University of Toronto, co-director of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer clinic at Women's College. "When used as directed, Lumixyl appears to significantly help the skin's ability to diminish dark spots imparting users with brighter, more even skin tone while limiting irritation, red blotches or even sensitivity to sunlight."

"Hydroquinone has had some controversy in the recent past and this product offers a non-hydroquinone alternative that shows good clinical efficacy in treating discoloration without causing irritation," stated Neil Sadick, MD, FAAD, FAACS, FACP, FACPh.
Lumixyl Topical Brightening Creme can be used alone or if directed by a physician, to compliment other treatments such as Tretinoin, laser resurfacing SilkPeel, respectively to diminish dark spots, uneven pigmentation and improve overall skin tone.

The RIPT results show that, unlike many alternative lightening ingredients, this peptide does not cause irritation or allergic reactions. Lumixyl is formulated to provide the following advantages:
-Safe for all skin types
-Produces no harmful by-products
-Has no cytotoxic effect

Active Prep Cleanser
I use a pea-size amount morning and night.
I actually apply this over my damp skin and then use my Clarsonic.

Topical Brightening Creme
I use 2 pumps in the morning and two pumps at night.
I experienced a light exfoliation with this product.

So what do you guys think???
My experience with the Lumixyl system has been amazing!
If you follow my blog, you know that I post regularly about skin care.
I have covered almost every skin care line/brand that I can think of!
I receive many freebie-products that I try and like... but Lumixyl, I LOVE!
I tried it straight for 8 weeks and did not use ANY other product (besides a hydrating night cream from another brand).
I wanted to really see if what they claim is true... and let me tell you, I have never received so many compliments on my skin!
I admit, this did sting a little bit when I first started using it; but it no longer does.
If you have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, consult your doctor/dermatologist.

It was so amazing, I REQUESTED to have a giveaway! They said yes and so the company is giving away 2 kits to my readers.
How exciting is that?!
One thing I stress is, you must use it as directed. DO NOT put this product on and expect a miracle overnight.
After the first week, you will actually start to see a difference!
Also, it worked amazing during my monthly breakouts... I know that sounds strange because this is a BRIGHTENING system, not an acne system.
But it totally helped my breakouts AND my acne/pimple scarring.
If you want a skin-lightening/brightening system then LOOK NO FURTHER!!!
I swear to you, this is absolutely worth every penny and I have been telling EVERYONE about Lumixyl.
I am not being paid to write this review... I never have seen results like this, I swear!!

• I am a follower.

Why I personally would benefit

Since becoming a sufferer of Acne in the last two years, I've tried a lot of ways to get rid of acne scarring. It's a confidence breaker, trying to establish myself in the line of work with makeup and running a beauty blog it never feels or looks good to show my skin due to the spots or the scarring.
I've tried pretty much anything even Doctor prescribed treatments and nothing has worked for the acne or scarring. I'd love to try something like this, that I have seen results in.

What the GlycoPeel 20 Rapid Exfoliating Lotion do?

GlycoPeel 20 works to diminish the appearance of hyper pigmentation by exfoliating older skin cells & hyper pigmentation trapped in the surface of the skin and stimulating cellular turnover.

•Improves skin texture and tone

•Helps tighten and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores

•Accelerates natural exfoliation of dead skin cells

•Helps diminish the appearance of hyper pigmentation.

How long does it typically take to see results with Lumixyl

8 weeks.
